Reminders

The Tolven system can be used to record "Reminders" for an individual patient record in the electronic Person Health Record and electronic Clinician Health Record account types. Reminders can be created using a "Reminder Wizard" or reminders can be generated by the system automatically by "Rules".

In the Tolven example applications, the "Reminder" functionality has been created (e.g., Reminder List and Reminder Portal), however, a wizard for creating reminders needs to be configured separately for each individual deployment of Tolven. The "Reminder Wizard" will be used to capture the required attributes and states of a reminder.

The Tolven applications does provide the ability for an "Account User" to be associated with a specific list of alerts, notifications and/or reminders. For further information please refer to the technical configuration guidance in the Tolven documentation wiki.
