Pseudo Users

The following special users must be specified in LDAP for most normal Tolven configurations.

tolvenGuest
Whenever a user is not logged in, that user is named tolvenGuest. tolvenGuest allows a user to login, or to register as a new Tolven user. The tolvenGuest pseudo user is assign the following roles by default:
- tolvenWriteInvitation
- tolvenRegister
- tolvenDemoRegister
tolvenAdminApp
The tolvenAdminApp pseudo user represents the task that processes messages from the adminApp queue. The queue/user processes administrative processing such as creating menus from Trim templates. The tolvenAdminApp pseudo user is assign the following roles by default:
- tolvenAdminApp
- tolvenWriteAdminApp
tolvenInvitation
The tolvenInvitation pseudo users represents tasks that generate and send invitations, which are typically sent via email. The tolvenInvitation pseudo user is assign the following roles by default:
- tolvenInvitation
tolvenGen
The tolvenGen pseudo users represents tasks that generate test data. The tolvenGen pseudo user is assign the following roles by default:
- tolvenGen
- tolvenWriteRule
tolvenRule
The tolvenRule pseudo users represents tasks that update account data. In effect, this user is allows to add patient and other account data on behalf of real users and external applications that have submitted data for processing. The tolvenRule pseudo user is assign the following roles by default:
- tolvenRule
admin
The admin user is setup by default as the user that can run configuration manager, Tolven Plugin Framework functions, and loader functions. The admin user is assign the following roles by default:
- tolvenAdmin
- tolvenTrimBrowser
- tolvenTrimUpload
- tolvenAdminApp
- tolvenWriteAdminApp
Normal User Roles
A normal Tolven user is given the following roles:
- tolvenWriteInvitation
- tolvenWriteRule
- tolvenWriteGen
- tolvenWeb
- tolvenWS
- tolvenMobile
- tolvenBrowse
