Document Uploading
This section of the end user documentation explains how to upload patient related structured documents (e.g., CCR, CDA documents).
If a document is uploaded using the "Document Upload" feature and there is a Tolven rule associated with the document type (e.g., CCR) the content of the document is extracted and placed onto the appropriate patient lists (e.g., Problems, Allergies, Medications etc.,).
Document Upload Functionality
Access the Tolven “Admin” functionality by clicking on the appropriate TAB in the electronic Clinician Health Record solution or electronic Personal Health Record example applications.
Select the "Document" option to reveal a list of all documents that have previously been uploaded in the Account.
Selecting the "NEW" option enables the Document Type to be selected
Once the Document Type has been identified the specific document (file) can be selected using the Browse function. Completing the "Document Upload" wizard will invoke the approrpiate rule to interprete the document.
