Introduction

This section of the Implementation Guide explains how to customize the menus and lists.

The Tolven solution is designed to be highly configurable by the Account Manager. The customize menus option in application preferences provides a mechanism for the customization of the end user environment. The customization menus enable the system administrator to configure the following:

i. Tabs ii. Top level menus iii. Application menus

Implementation Decisions

Translation Override

Translation override enables the default description for the tab, top menu or sub menu item to be modified for a specific account.

Order

The order number defines the position of the tab, top menu function or sub menu items position on the screen compared to other items of the same type.

Page Template

This enables the modification of the default xHTML page for the option selected.

Menu Template

Enables a menu template to be selected.

Visibility Rules

Enables the option to be made visible or invisible to the users.

Allow Roles

If roles have been defined in the roles option, this identifies roles available for selection.

Deny Roles

If roles have been defined in the roles option, this identifies roles available for selection.

Reference

Provides the reference for the selected option.

Columns

In the case of options with columns, this enables the order and title of the option to be modified.
